This fidget blanket is for men or women with dementia or Alzheimer’s. The fidget blanket allows your loved one to keep their hands busy throughout the day providing calming tactile stimulation. Keeping the fingers active and touching objects helps to promote brain function. Using a fidget blanket also helps to promote fine motor control, combats adverse behaviors by providing a distraction, and promotes a sense of security by holding a soft special blanket. This blanket is excellent for seniors who spend much of their day sitting and keeps their brains engaged by manipulating the different textures and variety of items on the blanket.
