She brings over 19 years of professional experience—including more than 13 years specializing in dementia care—and more than two decades of personal insight, having closely supported her mother through her 21-year journey with dementia, including eight years as her primary caregiver. Lisa is also leading research at GVSU on the unmet needs in dementia caregiving and has interviewed over 80 professionals. Her dementia education videos have reached millions, and GrandMinds’ resources are now used by thousands of families and senior living communities across the world.
